其实“咬舌”只是一个通俗的说法，其实不是咬着舌头来发音，而是把上下牙微微张开，舌头顶住牙齿之间的空隙，然后像发 s 音那样发出“咝”声，就是 th 的清音 /θ/，如 thin /θɪn/。但是要注意英语的 th 也可以代表浊音 /ð/，如 they /ðeɪ/。发浊音的位置不变，但是声带要伴随颤动，如英语的 z 或汉语拼音的声母 r。至于英语的 th 该发音 /θ/ 还是 /ð/，没有简单的规律，只能查词典，一个一个记。 　 所谓“四号元音”，不同的系统序号不一样，不能肯定是哪个元音。我搜了一下，国内一般是指 /æ/。这是把 a 和 e 连在一起的符号，所以发音也是介乎 a 和 e 之间。其实这个音很像汉语拼音 yan（烟）里面的 a，口再张大一点，舌头往前一点就可以了。中国人学的时候，关键是要发成跟 /e/ 有对比。英语的 /e/ 比汉语拼音 ye（耶）里面的 e 的口还张得小。这样才能分辨 pan /pæn/ 和 pen /pen/。 　 当然，***如有视频，有好的老师，就更容易学习。
